Experience Life Without Pain

A safe and natural alternative to
pharmaceutical drugs

Pain management is one of the most common reasons people seek acupuncture — and that’s because it works. Acupuncture and cupping have the proven ability to relax tight muscles, increase circulation, and bring fresh blood and nutrients to areas of pain to accelerate healing. These therapies also activate the brain to release endorphins and natural opioids, providing effective, drug-free relief.

At Mulberry Acupuncture and Wellness, we treat pain at the root — not just by masking symptoms, but by addressing the underlying imbalances that keep the body stuck in a pain cycle. Whether your pain is recent or chronic, physical or stress-related, we tailor each treatment to support the full picture of your health and help you get back to doing what you love.

Our Approach to Pain Management

No two pain conditions are alike. That’s why we create individualized care plans that may include acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, herbal medicine, and lifestyle support. Our goal is lasting relief — and a better quality of life.

Conditions We Commonly Treat

Migraines & Headaches
We work to identify and treat the root causes of migraines and tension headaches — including stress, hormonal imbalance, and postural tension — using acupuncture and other therapies to reduce frequency and intensity over time.

Sciatic Pain
Acupuncture and cupping are especially effective in relieving sciatica by releasing tension in the low back, glutes, and piriformis muscle — improving mobility and decreasing pain quickly.

Arthritis & Joint Pain
Whether due to aging, autoimmune issues, or injury, joint pain and stiffness respond well to acupuncture, which helps reduce inflammation, increase range of motion, and slow the progression of chronic joint conditions.

Back & Muscle Pain
From chronic low back pain to tight shoulders and post-exercise soreness, we use a combination of acupuncture, cupping, and gentle massage techniques to encourage circulation, relax tension, and promote faster recovery.

Nerve Pain & Neuropathy
Acupuncture has been shown to stimulate nerve repair and reduce sensations of numbness, tingling, or burning. It also helps regulate the nervous system to ease hypersensitivity and restore function.

Our Treatment Process

Your healing journey begins with a personalized plan based on your health goals and a comprehensive health history. The following are general examples of how treatment plans are often structured. Your personal plan may look different and will be adjusted based on your unique needs, goals, and how your body responds as we begin working together.

Musculoskeletal and Pain Conditions (Acute and Chronic)

For injuries, chronic pain, or musculoskeletal issues:

Phase 1: 2 acupuncture treatments per week for the first 3 weeks to reduce inflammation and restore mobility. If you progress more quickly, we will adjust your plan based on how your body responds.

Phase 2: 1 treatment per week for the next 4 weeks to reinforce healing and prevent setbacks.

Maintenance: After you are symptom-free or your condition is well managed for two consecutive weeks, we recommend monthly maintenance sessions to help you stay pain-free and resilient.
