Founder & Clinic Director | Licensed Acupuncturist | Board-Certified Herbalist | Board-Certified Fertility Specialist

Hello, I’m Eartha Armstrong—licensed acupuncturist, clinical herbalist, and founder of Mulberry Acupuncture and Wellness. I’m also a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), a board-certified fertility specialist with advanced training in reproductive and hormonal health.

At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to helping people feel better, find balance, and return to the things they love. Whether you're navigating fertility challenges, menstrual irregularities, perimenopause, or chronic stress, I’m here to walk beside you with personalized, evidence-informed care that meets you where you are.

My Approach

I blend classical Chinese medicine with modern clinical research to create individualized treatment plans that are both rooted in tradition and supported by science. Acupuncture has been practiced for over 3,000 years, and today, we have growing clinical evidence confirming its effectiveness for many of the conditions we treat—from hormonal imbalance and chronic pain to anxiety, insomnia, and asthma.

I bring deep knowledge and clinical experience to complex women’s health conditions, including IVF support, PCOS, endometriosis, perimenopause, and menstrual cycle irregularities. Whether you're preparing for an embryo transfer or working to regulate your cycles naturally, I offer strategic, phase-based care to help restore balance and optimize outcomes.

Why I Practice

My path to this medicine began with my own healing story. As a child, I struggled with severe asthma. After a frightening hospitalization, I was placed on daily medications, which managed my symptoms—but I knew I wanted another path. Eventually, I began acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. The transformation was life-changing. My asthma symptoms gradually disappeared, and I’ve now lived medication-free for many years.

That experience lit a spark in me. I saw firsthand how powerful this medicine can be, and I felt called to share it with others.

My Training

I received my Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado, completing over 3,000 hours of rigorous clinical and classroom training. My studies focused on Chinese herbal medicine, sleep and emotional disorders, Dr. Tan’s Balance Method, Neoclassical Pulse Diagnosis, and both chronic and acute pain.

My passion for women's health and fertility led me to pursue extensive post-graduate training with some of the most respected leaders in the field. I studied under Jane Lyttleton, internationally recognized for her work in Chinese medicine and fertility, and Laura Erlich, a pioneer in trauma-informed care and integrative fertility treatment. Their mentorship helped shape my clinical precision and whole-person approach to hormonal healing.

I also studied in Kunming, China, observing gynecology and fertility cases with Dr. Zhou Qing at the Kunming Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Back home, I worked with Dr. Tuesday Wasserman at The Birth Center of Boulder, where I focused on pregnancy, postpartum care, and hormone balance.

My Practice

Today, I run a busy little clinic in downtown Longmont, Colorado, where my team and I specialize in fertility and women’s health—along with pain, digestion, sleep, emotional wellness, and overall vitality.

I love helping clients make sense of their symptoms, understand their cycles, and feel truly supported through every phase of life—whether you're going through IVF, trying to conceive naturally, managing PCOS, navigating perimenopause, or seeking relief from endometriosis.

Whatever your path, I’m honored to be a partner in your healing.

Licensed Acupuncturist | Board-Certified Fertility Specialist

Hi, I’m Courtney Smith—a Colorado-licensed, nationally certified acupuncturist, and a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM). As a board-certified fertility specialist, I offer advanced, evidence-informed care for individuals and couples navigating fertility, hormonal imbalances, and all phases of women’s health.

My goal is always to help you feel more connected, resilient, and supported—whether you’re preparing for pregnancy, managing complex cycle symptoms, or recovering postpartum.

My Journey

My path to Chinese medicine began with my own health challenges. I turned to acupuncture for unresolved digestive and mood issues after finding limited success with conventional treatment. That first experience opened my eyes to how emotional health, relationships, and lifestyle patterns can influence the body. Through acupuncture, I felt more empowered and in control of my own healing—and I knew I wanted to help others feel that way too.

I’ve always been a curious and compassionate person, someone who wants to understand the “why” behind the symptoms. That natural curiosity, along with my yoga teacher training and experience as a chiropractic assistant, led me to pursue a career in acupuncture.

My Training

I earned my Master of Science in Acupuncture from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, where I completed thousands of hours of clinical and didactic study. During school, I was drawn to working in extern clinics that supported people with HIV/AIDS and elderly populations—experiences that shaped my appreciation for the body’s complexity and resilience.

After graduating, I spent several years on the East Coast practicing in a high-volume women’s health clinic in Alexandria, Virginia. There, I focused almost exclusively on fertility patients, especially those undergoing IUI and IVF. That experience confirmed what I had already suspected—supporting people on their fertility journeys is the work I feel most called to do.

I’ve since pursued extensive post-graduate training with some of the most respected experts in the field, including Jane Lyttleton, Laura Erlich, Claudia Citkovitz, and Dr. Lee Hullender Rubin. Their mentorship has given me a strong foundation in reproductive endocrinology, integrative fertility care, labor preparation, and postpartum recovery. Their influence continues to shape the depth and precision of my work.

Clinical Focus

My specialties include IVF and IUI support, natural cycle optimization, PCOS, endometriosis, luteal phase deficiency, and cycle regulation. I work closely with clients preparing for egg retrieval, frozen embryo transfer, and timed intercourse cycles—supporting the entire process with phase-based acupuncture, herbal medicine, and lifestyle guidance.

I also offer care for perimenopause, irregular or painful periods, postpartum recovery, and emotional health conditions like stress, anxiety, and insomnia. My approach is both grounded in clinical research and deeply attuned to the emotional nuances of this work.

As a practitioner and a mother, I understand just how much care and support are needed—especially in the often-overlooked postpartum chapter. I believe every stage of a woman’s life deserves thoughtful, holistic care.

In Practice

I’m thrilled to be back in Colorado and practicing in a community that truly values holistic healing and personal empowerment. I love helping patients understand their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and feel seen and supported in a real way.

Whether you’re navigating the complexities of fertility, recovering after birth, or seeking balance in your cycle and hormones—I’m here to help guide you with warmth, curiosity, and expert care.

Dr. Anne Devereux

DACM (Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine)
Dipl O.M. (NCCAOM - nationally certified)
L.Ac (Licensed Colorado acupuncturist)
Certified Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner

Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine | Licensed Acupuncturist | Board-Certified Herbalist | Certified Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner

Hello, I’m Dr. Anne Devereux—a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), licensed acupuncturist, board-certified herbalist, and certified Mind-Body Medicine practitioner. I specialize in integrative, whole-person care that blends the wisdom of East Asian medicine with modern, evidence-based approaches to support healing on every level—physical, emotional, and energetic.

My clinical focus includes women’s health and perimenopause, sports medicine, pediatrics, nervous system regulation, and stress-related conditions. I love working with patients of all ages—from young children to adults—helping them reconnect with their bodies, restore balance, and feel empowered in their own health.

My Journey into Chinese Medicine
Before entering the world of East Asian medicine, I began my career in the biomedical field, working in women’s health across both clinical and administrative roles. As I explored various healthcare paths—from nursing and public health to international relief work—I was consistently drawn to patient-centered care and meaningful connection.

My own health challenges eventually led me to acupuncture. After years of unresolved digestive and dermatological issues—and many visits with specialists—I found myself in the office of a local acupuncturist and herbalist. Within a single visit, I received a diagnosis and treatment plan that brought clarity and hope. That experience was transformational and lit a spark in me. I knew I had found my path.

Training & Clinical Focus
I earned my Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2012, completing over 3,000 hours of training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and clinical care. During that time, I worked closely with the late Chip Chace at Chautauqua Apothecary, where I developed a deep appreciation for classical Chinese herbalism. I also taught yoga in Denver, which further grounded my understanding of the body-mind connection.

In 2024, I completed my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) at Pacific College of Health and Science—a program that deepened my focus on research-informed, collaborative, and integrative care.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to study with influential leaders including Matt Callison, Robin Ray Green, and Dr. James Gordon of The Center for Mind-Body Medicine. Their mentorship has profoundly shaped my clinical approach and continues to guide my commitment to whole-person healing.

My post-graduate training has centered on expanding my expertise in integrative, patient-centered care. I am certified in Mind-Body Medicine, with advanced training in trauma-informed, somatic, and mindfulness-based techniques that support emotional health and nervous system regulation. I’ve completed specialized instruction in sports medicine acupuncture—including trigger and motor point therapy—through the guidance of Amy Dickinson and Matt Callison. My approach to pediatric care has been shaped by mentorship with Robin Ray Green, blending Five Element theory with gentle, holistic methods tailored to meet the unique needs of children and their families.

In Practice
For over a decade, I’ve served the Boulder County community through private practice. I’m now honored to continue that work as part of the Mulberry Acupuncture & Wellness team, where I collaborate with a passionate group of like-minded practitioners who share my vision for thoughtful, integrative care.

Whether you're supporting your child’s immune system, managing hormonal changes in perimenopause, recovering from injury, or navigating the effects of stress and burnout, I’m here to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected in your healing journey.
