Pediatric Acupuncture and Holistic Care

Gentle, natural support for your child’s health and development.

At Mulberry Acupuncture and Wellness, we specialize in pediatric care that meets your child exactly where they are — physically, emotionally, and developmentally. Our in-house pediatric specialist, Dr. Anne Devereaux, DACM, L.Ac., brings years of experience and a calm, compassionate approach to every session. that meets your child exactly where they are — physically, emotionally, and developmentally. Using gentle, non-invasive techniques rooted in East Asian medicine, we help children thrive by supporting their natural ability to heal, grow, and adapt.

Whether your child is struggling with digestive issues, sleep disturbances, emotional regulation, allergies, or immune challenges, pediatric acupuncture offers a safe, effective, and drug-free approach to wellness.

What to Expect

Our treatments are designed to be calming and comfortable. We use tiny needles — or often no needles at all — depending on your child’s age and comfort level. Many children respond well to other modalities such as acupressure, tui na (gentle massage), shonishin (Japanese pediatric techniques), and cupping or herbal therapy as appropriate.

Parents are always welcome in the room, and we take the time to make sure your child feels safe, seen, and empowered.

Typical Treatment Plan

For most pediatric conditions, we recommend:

  • 2 acupuncture treatments per week for 4–6 weeks, depending on the severity and duration of symptoms.

  • After noticeable improvement, we space treatments out to weekly or biweekly for continued support.

  • Long-term maintenance visits (monthly or seasonal) can help prevent future imbalances and keep your child healthy and resilient.

Why Pediatric Acupuncture?

Children are incredibly responsive to acupuncture and East Asian medicine — often needing less stimulation to see big results. Because their systems are still developing, we focus on strengthening what’s already working, correcting minor imbalances before they become bigger problems, and supporting physical and emotional resilience.

Is It Safe?

Yes. Pediatric acupuncture is very safe when performed by a licensed, experienced practitioner. Our team at Mulberry Acupuncture and Wellness is trained in child-specific techniques and will always prioritize your child’s comfort, autonomy, and care.
